Grassroots Films of Brooklyn, NY presents THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE

THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE is the story of a band of brothers who travel the world in search of the answers to the burning questions: Who am I? Who is Man? Why do we search for meaning? Their journey brings them into the middle of the lives of the homeless on the streets of New York City, the orphans and disabled children of Peru, and the abandoned lepers in the forests of Ghana, Africa. What the young men discover changes them forever. Through one on one interviews and real life encounters, the brothers are awakened to the beauty of the human person and the resilience of the human spirit.

Black Noise = Sonic Heaven

…And in a nod to classical minimalists like Philip Glass and Steve Reich, the prepared bells and other organic percussive elements heard on the album repeat in hypnotic swirls, yet change slightly every so often. With the glassy, Superpitcher-like phrases of "Satellite Sniper" and the ambient warmth that rides over the kicks on "Welt Am Draht," Black Noise just might be the height of Weber's work under the Pantha Du Prince moniker.

NYT — Getting Faster With Age: Sam Shepard’s New Velocity

When Sam Shepard directed the original 1985 Off Broadway production of his play “A Lie of the Mind,” about emotionally scarred young men and the damaged women in their lives, the production ran six hours at first. His latest play, “Ages of the Moon,” about two emotionally scarred men in their 60s (the damaged women remain offstage) lasts about 80 minutes.

Over 300 designers from 30 countries have contributed each an ampersand (&) in the theme of “COMING TOGETHER”. I’m compiling all those hundreds of glyphs into one simple fundraiser font. Money from the sale of the font goes to DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS who are in Haiti helping people right now.
